Congrats...it looks the the best man won--fair and square. This country makes me proud.

I must say, while I'm glad that Obama won, the fair and square part makes me proud. Election results that we can trust restores my faith in America, and my hope that better days are ahead. (Of course, I probably won't feel completely comfortable until January 20, 2009...)
I'm curious if Bush is going to actually do something decent now in the waning months to try and salvage a moticum of dignity.

Ted, I'm curious to see if the Bush admin. stays true to its unprincipled and unethical approach to government by making lots of last minute appointments and orders, etc. I don't expect John Adams'-like shenanigans (Bush lacks congressional control) and I don't expect an invasion of Iran. But just you watch . . . .
