FH--there's so much to reverse from the last 8 years. But then maybe some progress, too, is possible. No matter -- what a great day.

prepr -- a mild, pleasant spice, rumored to cause an optimistic outlook

Congrats...it looks the the best man won--fair and square. This country makes me proud.

blenti?

Blenti, gina, molto blenti!!!!

I must say, while I'm glad that Obama won, the fair and square part makes me proud. Election results that we can trust restores my faith in America, and my hope that better days are ahead. (Of course, I probably won't feel completely comfortable until January 20, 2009...)

I'm curious if Bush is going to actually do something decent now in the waning months to try and salvage a moticum of dignity.

chicia?

Too easy

Ted, I'm curious to see if the Bush admin. stays true to its unprincipled and unethical approach to government by making lots of last minute appointments and orders, etc. I don't expect John Adams'-like shenanigans (Bush lacks congressional control) and I don't expect an invasion of Iran. But just you watch . . . .

alide. I think I've met women named Alide. Other day I got "floes."

lefty, I'm afraid I'm just a cock-eyed optimist.

The pardons should be intresting, though. In a warped sort of way.

Huh. grouse.
No kidding. It's a real word.

As usual, my first try didn't work so now I have:
inalithe. 3 real words

I'm so happy. Mr. Suza told me to not get my hopes up because there is a long way to go and a lot of work to do. So I said "In the unlikely story that is America there has never been anything FALSE about HOPE."

So there.

nolyarr...like a pirate, I guess

Get down, Yogi! I've been following that comic strip for years. My brother, then working for an entertainment weekly, interviewed it's creator, David Rees, and described him as a very quiet, somewhat guarded individual. With good reason, I suppose...
