Just Biden my time...
In case there's some sort of Blog Law, I'm going to cover my behind with a VP post. So what do you think about Sen. Joe Biden as the running mate of Barack Obama? (Watch this spot for a post about something that I find more personally interesting - probably later today.)

It's a terrific choice, I hope he plays a prominent role in the Obama administration. Now who is he going to embarrass in the VP debate? If I were Obama, I would toss the PUMAs a meaty bone by letting Clinton select the next Supreme Court justice.
you know, I thought I was totally ok with the Hillary thing (as long as no one mentioned it). But now I'm just feeling likt it's the good old boys club. Your color doesn't matter as long as you've got a penis. Sigh. I wish I could be excited about this, but I am mad that Hillary wasn't even vetted. He has no intention of nominating her, ever. So disappointed.
I'm with Mindful. Business, er, I mean Politics As Usual. And I actually like Biden, but that's beside the point. Hopefully, he'll be at least as influential in the Obama Administration as the current VP is in his...but it's like Hillary was never even an option. *sigh*
I don't know. I think Hillary would have made a good president, but I think this is a smart move on Obama's part. I was kinda thinking; 'Why didn't you guy's nominate Biden for President?'
Biden seems like a good choice. Makes people like me feel secure voting for an inexperienced man like Obama--Biden is seasoned--without the negative baggage that Hillary carries. I can overlook her negatives, but many can't on both sides.
It basically comes down to this for me: since the pro-life issue is moot and seemingly unsolvable by the GOP, my next big issues are ending this war in a safe and timely manner and fixing the economy. I can't seem to trust the GOP to do this. Looks like I'll be leaning towards this ticket.
Unsigned posts will be deleted! You don't have to sign up for anything, but you do need to sign your posts. If you are going to write something, have the courage to stand by your words. (I'm not talking names, here. Just some consistent screen name.) I don't care how wonderful you think I am, I will still delete your unsigned posts. Cowards are NO LONGER WELCOME!
We don't need JFK, we need FDR!!!
"Governments can err, Presidents do make mistakes, but the immortal Dante tells us that divine justice weighs the sins of the cold-blooded and the sins of the warm-hearted in different scales. Better the occasional faults of a Government that lives in a spirit of charity than the consistent omissions of a Government frozen in the ice of its own indifference. There is a mysterious cycle in human events. To some generations much is given. Of other generations much is expected. This generation of Americans has a rendezvous with destiny."
From Franklin D. Roosevelt's speech accepting his party's nomination for President - Democratic National Convention, Philadelphia, PA, June 27, 1936.
A bleeding heart liberal, who knows deep down inside that Right and Left are closer than we think. I believe that Progressives are under-represented in the Democratic Party and that it's not too late for true Republicans to reclaim the GOP. Power to We The People!!!

And by the way, there *is* a Blog Law so you came in under the wire.
What blog law?
