Just Biden my time...

In case there's some sort of Blog Law, I'm going to cover my behind with a VP post. So what do you think about Sen. Joe Biden as the running mate of Barack Obama? (Watch this spot for a post about something that I find more personally interesting - probably later today.)

It's a terrific choice, I hope he plays a prominent role in the Obama administration. Now who is he going to embarrass in the VP debate?
If I were Obama, I would toss the PUMAs a meaty bone by letting Clinton select the next Supreme Court justice.

you know, I thought I was totally ok with the Hillary thing (as long as no one mentioned it). But now I'm just feeling likt it's the good old boys club. Your color doesn't matter as long as you've got a penis. Sigh. I wish I could be excited about this, but I am mad that Hillary wasn't even vetted. He has no intention of nominating her, ever. So disappointed.

I'm with Mindful. Business, er, I mean Politics As Usual. And I actually like Biden, but that's beside the point. Hopefully, he'll be at least as influential in the Obama Administration as the current VP is in his...but it's like Hillary was never even an option. *sigh*

I don't know. I think Hillary would have made a good president, but I think this is a smart move on Obama's part. I was kinda thinking; 'Why didn't you guy's nominate Biden for President?'

Biden seems like a good choice. Makes people like me feel secure voting for an inexperienced man like Obama--Biden is seasoned--without the negative baggage that Hillary carries. I can overlook her negatives, but many can't on both sides.

It basically comes down to this for me: since the pro-life issue is moot and seemingly unsolvable by the GOP, my next big issues are ending this war in a safe and timely manner and fixing the economy. I can't seem to trust the GOP to do this. Looks like I'll be leaning towards this ticket.
